Joining Forces for the Environment

We're proud to join forces with Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation to preserve the environment and leave it better than we found it.

.

Even though we would consider ourselves grain-free granola masters after years of perfecting our products, we know we're not masters when it comes to preserving and bettering the environment.

It's no secret that we care deeply about our outdoor playground, and in 2020 we decided to donate money to a cause that would actively work to improve and preserve it. Once we knew who we wanted to partner with, one simple question remained, how?

Once we recognized how wild our customers were over our exciting seasonal granola flavors, we had the lightbulb thought, "why not donate a portion of those proceeds to helping improve the outdoors?". That's when we began to really use our We Rise program to its full potential by donating 10% of the proceeds from our seasonal granolas to TPWF.

.

We didn't stop there though, but kept asking ourselves what more we could do to contribute to bettering the environment by supporting those who understand it best. We began offering our online customers the option to round-up their order for charity by checking off a little box at checkout.

When customers check the box to round-up, their donation goes directly to the TPWF. It may seem like only a little when you're talking about a couple cents, but we believe a little goes a long way when you're pouring back into the environment. For our customers, this is a great way to kickstart their journey to become better advocates in the environment!

Since adding the option to round-up for charity, some of our customers have gone above and beyond by rounding their order until their donation reaches over 100x the original round-up value.

Get to know the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation

The TPWF has been hard at work for over 30 years to conserve and protect Texas land. In that amount of time, they have successfully raised over $215 million that is used to improve the land we all love, and protect wildlife and natural resources.

Currently, they are working to raise $9 million in an effort to open the newest state park North Texas has seen in over 25 years! The Palo Pinto Mountains State Park could potentially offer millions of Texans an additional opportunity to get outdoors and explore land like never before.
